Prenuptial agreements 2
M Lets address a difficult subject related to money. Prenuptial agreements are one. Let’s look at this from the perspective of stewardship. What has God entrusted to that woman, that man as single adults?
What in the future is guaranteed? Will each be financially a good steward in marriage? Will the marriage be permanent? Given the 35-50% divorce rate among Christians, facing reality is important.
V Life is complex. We recommend wills and often trusts for both single and married folks. Is there a cost? Yes. Is it good stewardship? Yes. Do all couples planning to marry need a prenuptial? Maybe not. If neither have any assets prior to marriage, it’s not necessary. Remember, those assets you have before marriage and God’s on loan to steward wisely. Prenuptial Agreements can accomplish that.
