Lazybones

M  The writer of Proverbs 6 would have liked the word lazybones.  The word says it.  Inactivity!  Verse 9 and 10, when will you wake up?  A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest. Genesis says God told Adam and Eve to subdue the earth.  Work. 

V Ephesians 4: 28 and I Thessalonians 4: 11 both say work with your hands, work is good.  Work so you can share with others.  If you cannot find a paying job, and that may be a reality at times, volunteer.  That may be your path to employment. 

M  Activity does not guarantee profit and income.  But inactivity, being lazy, guarantees nothing.
