Red flags of vulnerability # 2

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money

M Times of aloneness and isolation are times of financial vulnerability.  We are vulnerable to that ‘new friend’ who appears to be able to help, advise us in our aloneness.

V  That new friend might be available to talk, even meet, but for their benefit not that of the lonely person. That new friend may advise risky investments, get rich quick schemes.  They may get information and simply scam the lonely person.

M One of our greatest blessings is to have a friend who has our back through all times. Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. Talk openly with that trusted friend about relationships, vintage and new. Vulnerability can undermine stewardship.
