Retirement Alone - Income

M   Are you finding yourself entering retirement unexpectedly alone?  Maybe you are widowed or divorced?  What if you were not the one managing the finances?  What do you do now? 

V Step one is to understand where your sources of income will come from.  Will you get Social Security? If so, how much?  What about a teacher retirement?  Or a pension?  You can get a statement of projected payments on each of these.

What about retirement savings accounts?  Will you have those funds to draw from? Any other sources like part time work, or rental income?
