Counting The Costs

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Starting over financially requires change.  One of the most important concepts in Scripture is in Luke 14.  Count the cost of what you plan to do.  The example is building a tower.  Today, for us, it’s building a sustainable budget.

V In the tower example the point is don’t start what you can’t finish.  A poor foundation only ends in embarrassment.  Accumulating debt that you can’t pay is not a plan.  Scripture also says, do not owe any person anything but love.

M Owning the biblical perspective gives us the power of our conviction to change our behavior.  I need that to pass the expensive coffee stop.
