Storage Units

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Our friend, Esther is a Chicago native who has lived in Kenya 10 years.  Before her first departure she rented a storage unit.  And asked herself, will I need or want this when I return?  I might only be gone one year.

V The rest went in garage sales and donations. God kept growing Esther’s calling in Africa. Nine years later she said.  “OK God, I’m getting rid of the storage unit.”  Luke 12: 18 talks about a man who kept building bigger barns to hoard his wealth.  Esther is the opposite.  Her treasures are in heaven.

M Let’s ask ourselves, “where are we storing stuff and why?”  Today might be a good day to transfer treasures.
