M Ecclesiastes 1: 9 states that there’s nothing new under the sun. Here’s evidence.  Larry Burkett wrote the book, ‘The Word on Finances: Practical wisdom and bible reference Guide for Today’s Economic Climate, published by Moody Press in 1994.  That book is timely and relevant today.

V Biblical principles in working and earning, then spending and honoring God in all, have never changed.  The realities of the dangers of debt, greed, and discontent have never changed. Credit, investing it’s all there.  One thing we love is that Burkett starts with right and wrong attitudes.

M There it is, that heart thing.  Yes, our actions matter.  What we do is important.  But of greatest importance is Why?  What is our heart saying, and leading us to do?  That matters.
