Bad words, budget and money

M Are the words ‘money,’ and ‘budget,’ on your bad words list?  Lets change that.  Even if you are weathering a crisis and your financial footing is shifting, you can make important changes that benefit your relationships, and even come to enjoy tracking your budget.

V  OK Mom, we’re not all feeling that right now.  Speaking of relationships, in fact, we know that financial differences are listed in the top reasons for marriages that fail.  So consider this: working together to keep spending within what you earn, will  bring more peace to your marriage.

M Bob and I came to a point where we enjoyed doing our budget.  Lots of communication and compromise. Start talking.  Listen carefully.  Eventually money and budget won’t be on the bad words list.
