Balanced Budget

M So you’ve balanced your budget.  You know what you can spend in each category.  You’re generous and you have a plan.  As humans, the enemy of our budget is pride.  I can think I’ll be more highly regarded if I’m the owner of something more upscale than what I have.

V We’re in the process of downsizing our home. Yes, there are moments of sadness. We’ll miss the place. It’s beautiful, but it’s expensive. We want our contentment to be more in generosity. Money going to what matters more than our homes beauty. If we let pride get in the way, it will wreak havoc and take over our budget
