M Life is messy.  Work is unpredictable.  Financial wisdom for everyone, yes all, is to have an emergency fund.  Money that is untouchable for your regular budget.

V It’s recommended that you have a 6-month reserve at all times, not just leading up to Christmas to be depleted for gift buying.  If that seems like a daunting amount to save, just do a little at a time.  Resist the temptation to change vehicles, splurge on a vacation; it’s for emergencies. Two great benefits are obedience, as Scripture says to provide for our family, and peace of mind in turbulent times.
