College financing # 3

M  We’re doing a deep dive into college financing.  And we’re going way back before those deadlines of choosing after you see the college’s financial package to your child.

V  That four year degree is not for everyone and may be outdated a decade later.  Community colleges now offer training programs, some only 6 months long and some two years that result in a specific skill that employers need today.  Heating and air conditioning, medical records, dental hygiene assisting, to name a few.  We mention these to acknowledge, these might be wiser investments than a 4-year program.
