Wise Investing # 2

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money

M Everyone needs to look after their ‘stuff.’  After all, it’s all God’s on loan to us to steward wisely.  “Stuff” is living space, bank accounts, savings, investments, furniture, and wardrobes.  Some oversight areas are easier than others.

V It’s important for everyone to know financial jargon as many are invested in the markets at some level.  In our book Wise Women Managing Money, we explain small cap, medium, and large cap companies this way.

Toddler, small cap, teenager, mid cap,  adult, large cap.  Which has more growth potential?  Which is more likely to take tumbles?  Which is more dependable? Now consider your risk tolerance and your timeline for when you’ll need to sell that and use the returns.

M  Learn the financial jargon.  It’s easy and fun.
