Investing Simplified
I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.
M My favorite way to describe investment opportunities is by comparing possibilities to a grocery store. You have a deli section, fresh produce, bakery, canned things. Imagine an investment grocery. You have a stock section, (equities) bonds, bank savings account, and a shoe box.
V You had lots to learn when Dad went to heaven. If that grocery example helps you, great. The important point is, don’t be intimidated by what you don’t know. Pick one section, learn, listen, and decide if that aisle is a good fit for what you have to invest. Consider when you’ll need access to investments.
M We’ll keep talking about these. It’s like managing a family budget. Learn and apply. It’s not that difficult once you begin.
