Other People’s Money 2

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Money often causes family turmoil.  What child gets the most?  How old should one be when he stands on his own?  What grandchild is most needy.  Popular series on The Millionaire Next Door reveals interesting research.  Children who depend on Other People’s Money and or Economic Outpatient Care actually become weaker:  less productive and earn less, than those who are NOT helped and must learn to live on what they earn.

V The most frequent place of break down is in families.  Those with much are tempted to ‘over help’ others.

Research shows that helping those making poor financial decisions sometimes enables them.  Encouraging wise decisions and independence in the first place makes them strong.

M Scripture for families:  owe no one anything but love.
