All Work Is Profitable

M We’d all like meaningful work.  But some is drudgery, not exciting, but needs to happen.  Proverbs 14: 23 In all toil there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.  God doesn’t rank the value of work like people do.

V A banker may get more respect than a common laborer in people’s eyes, but not God’s. God has his specific purposes for our work and what we learn at each stage of our life. There is wisdom to be gained when we do hands on work. No amount of reading or research can replace that experience.

M I don’t use much of my growing up farm work.  Yet today, I give thanks for the ability AND opportunity to work.
