M Winston Churchill may be known as a war time diplomat. The breadth of his experiences, success and failures resulted in this statement: “We make a living by what we get.  We make a life by what we give.”

V The ability to work, be productive and earn is a blessing not to be taken for granted.  What we do with that, is our opportunity to bless others.  Let’s not overlook small ways:  An oversized tip to the young person washing our car, a restaurant server, or carpet cleaner.  Generosity can be financial, effort, help, even encouraging words.

M Writing a compliment card to the life guards where I swim, the manager looked amazed.  ‘We usually get complaints.’ Today is a good time to give.
