 M Mortgage rates are in the news impacting the housing market.  Folks are pulling out of pending contracts as they see mortgage charges going up beyond what they can afford.  Its wise not to overcommit.  Renting longer or looking for a less expensive home might be the solution.

 V Multigenerational living has been common in most countries, but not ours.  However, it has been increasing since the 1970s.  It’s now 18% overall and higher in some cultural traditions.  There are benefits, like financial and help with tasks including childcare.  And it’s not easy.  Compromise and flexibility— a must.

 M We’ve learned from experience that great benefits include meeting young adult friends of grandsons, getting better acquainted with each, their strength of character at each stage.
