Tax Perspective

M Taxes, always a sticky subject.  This month we collect our documents to file our tax reports.  Our attitude is just as important to God as our action.

V Let’s review biblical principles. In Luke 20:20-25, Jesus is questioned about whether people should pay taxes to Caesar, an emperor who ruled corruptly defying the faith Jews followed. “Show me a denarius. Whose image and inscription are on it?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. He said to them, “Then give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

M Challenge: Hold our government accountable, vote and pray, and pay taxes with grateful obedience.
