Greed

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money

M The Bible talks about money more than any other topic except love.  Important for sure.  Budgeting, accountability, generosity.  An important impact on our finances is the character trait of greed.

V Luke 12:15 “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions,’ Greed morphs our thoughts on money to how to get it, regardless of laws, fairness, or violating the golden rule Matthew 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.

M An antidote for greed is to connect with others less fortunate.  See them, walk beside them, share their experience.  That brings tenderness and compassion, and crowds out greed.
