Saying No
I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.
M Do you like to please others, a “Yes” person? This is dangerous financially. If you have a bit of change in your pocket, or wealth of any amount, someone will notice and have a great plan for your money.
V They have a favored investment, that usually brings profit to them. They want a loan, which they will pay back. Practice saying, ‘I’ll think about that.’ Or don’t practice, just say ‘No.’ A friend with your best interests at heart, will still be your friend after ‘No.’
Why ask you for a loan? They did not qualify with a bank or another source? There’s a big red flag.
M We remind ourselves that all we are overseeing is God’s on loan to us. We say ‘Yes” to God’s plan. Not others asks.
