Money Worries

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Financial concerns top the list of what we worry about.  Too much debt, not enough for retirement, waiting for the next shoe to drop, Americans worry.

V Contrast our reality with Scripture:   Phillipians 4: 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Worrying is not productive.  It’s hard to pray and ask God for something without considering, ‘Is this a God honoring request?  Am I following his instructions?  Is this a selfish priority, or a God priority?

M After asking, be thankful.  Give thanks for what He has already provided and that He always will give us wisdom.
