Losing Your Job

M While our economy appears to be on a moderate upswing, job loss still happens.  If you are 25 to 44 you’ll likely land a new one in five months.  Older?  It will take longer.

V Older workers take 7 to 10 months to land that next job.  Reconnect with old school friends and previous work.  Networking is often the path to that new job.  Take advantage of updating credentials, adding certifications.  That may not open a new door, but it shows your motivation.

M Remember, God honors all work.  Without a job, volunteer and stay connected.  Treasure the lessons of frugality and God dependence.
