M What has triggered the gyrations in healthcare costs?  The roots go back decades.  Companies exist for profit, not philanthropy.  Profit in drugs, treatments, coverage; enter our government ideology, political leanings, budget concerns. 

V Expect the costs and coverage to continue to fluctuate and take time to research your choices.  Pick carefully.  With three high school athletes our family’s needs were different 5 years ago than they are today. What do you control?  Each person can make healthy choices for eating, activity, and life style, even preventing some costs.
