M  Have you ever thought of family money talks as opportunities to focus on God and His goodness?  With adult children and grandchildren, I’m planning a focused conversation on God’s provisions for me through seasons of life and the ‘why’ behind my decisions.

V Money surprises in families are rarely good.  Plans made in wills and trust, or lack of plans, can cause great divides in families.  This is unnecessary.  Think carefully how your plan will impact relationships when you’re no longer here?  Promoting peace and being transparent are important goals.  But you cannot control the reactions of others or manage their feelings.

M I’m taking time to ponder, research, listen to knowledgeable people.  and communicate with all family members.  No surprises.  Shared gratitude.
