The necessity of wills. #2

M We hope we have established that Christ followers need a will or trust.  A document drawn up and notarized directing your assets to where you want them to go when you enter Heaven.  God entrusted to YOU those assets.  It’s a stewardship issue.

V Don’t delay.  We hear tragic stories of those who ‘never got around to it.’  Thinking this through means directing without enabling, promoting Kingdom purposes and godly lifestyles.  Creating a will or trust has costs.  Everything of value has a cost.  Consider the confusion and expense of not having a plan.  If it’s not written, that item will go where probate decides. Not the child that says, ‘but Dad said I could have it.’ 

M A will is a loving document that you leave for those you leave behind.
