Discount Stores

M Scripture repeatedly tells us to be wise with money God entrusts to us.  That means embracing discount stores.  Right?

V Beware discount stores.  I have gone into a “discount” thinking I can get a discount phone cord for $15.99 instead of $30 full retail.  Too bad I also brought home an additional $60 in discounted cute coffee mugs and great smelling candles.  I can almost see my husband rolling his eyes right now.  So that discount phone cord really cost me almost $80 and an eye roll. Not a great deal.

M It’s not just money, it’s time.  God has better ways for us to spend both.
