Comparing Colleges

M College costs are a big expense.  They have increased and their value is no guaranteed of early higher income.  Valerie, you had three college students at one time.  Your thoughts.

 

V Research and compare.  Likely the most affordable option is your local community college.  Two years to earn that associates degree is likely the least expensive.  Look at state schools and private institutions. Check financial aid.  Sometimes the bigger price tag schools give more aid and scholarships.

 

Major matters.  What is the best match considering their goal and temperament?  Are they undecided?  Community college is the most reasonable way to explore possibilities.
