College - What That Dollar Is Worth

M Families facing college costs have a challenge.  Young folks rarely understand the value of a hard-earned dollar.  Mom and Dad do.  Valerie, with your three college age sons, I watched you teach them a visual lesson about college dollars I’d never seen before.  Explain

V I showed them how much cash was wasted if they skip even one class.

 I physically showed each of my sons in cash what each daily class costs, semester costs and what their scholarships look like in cash.  That was a powerful visual.

M   I doubt that many students arrive on campus having seen that money spread out, ready to be used or wasted. Considering that all we have is God’s, you helped them see your investment in them.
