Teaching Children
I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money
M Teaching our children about finances is more important than ever today. Work and earn, no debt, be productive. Our culture promotes none of these biblical principles.
V Consider the Proverbs 31 woman. We see her as a productive, successful businesswoman. She was all that and more. She was an example to her children. A hands-on example. Proverbs 31: 26, 27, 28. “She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed;”
M Speaking wisdom is good, but not enough. Her actions matched her words. Who better knows than our children. They see all day every day. Teaching time.
