16 Inflations Impact

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Inflation is a reality today that impacts our finances.  At a 40 year high, it impacts everyone, some more than others.  Poor people and those with fixed incomes, like retirees, are hurt the most.

V What can Christ followers do?  First, having that 3 to 6 month savings reserve, which all should have, means we don’t hit the panic button.  And we don’t run up credit card debt in desperation.  In that time, we change all that we can.  Simpler food choices, even temperature settings in our living space.

Also, look around.  Do you see a brother or sister in need. Can we come alongside them with gift cards for groceries?

M In biblical times there were shortages, famines and more. Time to be God honoring with whatever we have.
