Smart women

M Why is it that many times men get magazines on investing and finances and women get magazines on wardrobes, design, and pinching dollars at the grocery store?  Yet here I am now, single and in charge of my money and investments.

V  A worthwhile point.  Women now control more than half of our nations wealth.  Through inheritance, longer life, singleness, and sadly, divorce these are today’s realities. As an attorney and certified financial planner, I encourage both partners in a marriage to create their financial priorities and both understand their investments.  

M  Another changing demographic is that most women in the United States are single.  Simple fact:  we need to know and understand our finances.
