Frenemy

MA smart phone is a  frenemy.  It describes the smart phone you like that has become your enemy,  it’s costs mess with your budget, not to mention that it interrupts your schedule incessantly.  Lets talk about phone costs.

V  Think ‘smart’ means expensive.  Look at purchase price, plans, and more.  Even school age children compare.  Who has the most cool phone? This is a relevant learning moment. Family finances matter. Conversations about personal accountability, not comparing. Confidence is in who you are, not what you own.

M Remember that what we now find necessary had not been invented not such a long time ago.  People once survived without cars, microwaves, computers and smart phones. Newer stuff can be our frenemy.
