Budget buster Greed

M.  In our book Wise Women Managing Money, we talk about budget busters.  Most of them are matters of the heart.  One is greed.

V We look around at folks who are buying a bigger home, a nicer car, or any item for that matter.  Our temptation is to think, I’d like that too.  Greed.  Sign for a bigger mortgage, car payment, even more clothes on a credit card.

M  God has a solution.  Our worth is in Him.  We are his creation, unique, unlike any other.  Psalm 139: 13-16   And He has a good plan for our life.  Our contentment is in Him  with little or much.  Our provision rests with Him, we are content.  Greed destroys contentment.  Thank Him for all we have.
