M We know that God provides. However, we may think we should advise God as to what we need. Bad idea. I grew up on a poor farm where we only ate what we grew. Large garden, lots of work.
V Mom your stories of fried left over gravy as a meal doesn’t sound good. Making pies from green grapes because a blight would rot them before they became inedible, another non delicacy in my book. And vinegar pie when you can’t afford lemons? Somehow you were all strong and healthy.
M We share this not as menu ideas. Only that people are flexible. Inflation impacting our grocery budgets require that we flex. Select carefully within that budget.
