Our country’s example # 2

M Our country’s handing out money with no effort to earn it is unbiblical.  We were created to be productive.  We thrive.  We see results of our effort. A productive garden, an item created, a service rendered.  With what we earn we acquire what we need to eat.

V  Scripture is also clear that we help those in need.  But it’s not the government deciding who.  We help others through times of distress, unemployment and illness who are in our body of believers.  We help those in our family, during their time of need, but not creating codependency so they are irresponsible. 

M Do you see friends or family in need, pray first.  God will guide you to use what He has entrusted to you wisely.
