Single Parenting And Money #1

M Speaking recently with a group of single moms, they shared their greatest financial struggles.  Statistically single moms have much lower incomes than single dads, and much lower net worth.

V Being wise financially is the same, no matter what.  Spend less than you have coming in including work income and child support, or lack thereof. Children may not understand that they cannot have their own phone. Shopping in a thrift store may be a requirement.  Children learn not to see their worth in what they wear or earn, or where they live.

M Tough stuff for sure, but necessary to be that good steward. Stewarding that small talent well will be rewarded with contentment and setting a good example for your children.
