Money - World View vs God’s View

I’m Miriam Neff, and I’m Valerie Neff Hogan, with Wise Women Managing Money.

M Money is a powerful distraction, even ruler of our soul.  The world view today is that how much you have defines your value, your reputation, your popularity.  Therefore, get as much as you can and show it.

V Proverbs tells us that it’s better to have little and the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble with it.  Care of stuff requires time, oversight, and sometimes trouble; and it’s all temporary.

God can bless with wealth.  He says share it.  Don’t let it own you or distract you from what is eternal.

M The only way to live this is spending time with God listening to him.  The world’s shout-out is loud and tempting.  God has a better plan.
