M Markets up, markets down.  Hope rises, hope falls.  Most Americans hold some stake in the stock markets.  Those investments may be fickle.  That’s true of all this world’s treasures.  "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.” Matthew 6:19

V Stock markets, mutual funds, and hedge funds have replaced metals, oil, and grains as investments mentioned in biblical times.  But greed and theft have not changed.  Our best deposit is in heaven: our personal relationship with Jesus.  Add to that acts and life choices that honor him.  With each Christ-like act our heavenly deposit grows.  Never to tank.
